    Plans are under way to have a "double street renaming" on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 11am at the intersection of Bronxwood Avenue and Allerton Ave. in the 49th Precinct.

    This ceremony is in honor of NYPD Police Officer John D'Allara (ESS 2) and FDNY Firefighter Vincent Princiotta. The signs will point (if the city gets it right) in the direction where both of these heroes lived.
